Why LISTDIR exists

Submitting a software product to relevant directories looks simple until the work begins. Every destination asks for a different combination of descriptions, categories, screenshots, social profiles, pricing, founder details, and account steps. Existing lists often optimize for impressive totals while leaving the operator to discover that links are stale, forms are duplicated, or submissions require payment and community participation.

LISTDIR is designed around a narrower promise: prepare the reusable information once, show what is currently known about each target, help with repetitive form work in the user’s own browser, and keep a truthful record of what happened.

How we build trust

The product separates discovery from verification, never stores directory passwords, and refuses to treat an opened form as a submission or a submission as a live listing. Security controls, tenant isolation, evidence, rate limits, retention, backups, and incident procedures are release requirements rather than optional enterprise add-ons.

Early-stage transparency

LISTDIR has no customers, testimonials, or measured outcome claims yet. Paid access remains closed until the verified catalog and live infrastructure gates pass. During beta, the team will use customer interviews and consented funnel measurements to refine the offer instead of presenting assumptions as proof.
