Product capabilities

Automate the repetitive parts. Keep the important decisions.

LISTDIR combines reusable launch data, verified requirements, browser-local assistance, and explicit evidence in one guided directory submission workflow.

Free product scan

Enter a public product URL and LISTDIR reads bounded HTML metadata through a server-side fetcher that blocks private networks, rechecks every redirect, requires HTML, and stops at a hard byte limit. The preview extracts a product name, concise positioning, category signals, and reusable tags without granting paid execution.

One canonical launch profile

Store long and short descriptions, tagline, audience, problem, features, pricing, technology, company details, support and legal URLs, social links, platforms, languages, integrations, competitors, a maker comment, launch date, and media once. Directory-specific adapters choose the relevant fields and apply known length limits.

Evidence-backed target intelligence

A directory is not called verified merely because its domain responds. Verification records a current evidence source, observed submission URL, authentication model, likely CAPTCHA, fee model, eligibility notes, field requirements, human checkpoints, automation policy, expected review window, link type, reviewer, and freshness date.

Account Setup Sprint

Before filling forms, LISTDIR separates destinations that need signup, OAuth, email verification, payment, or another human action. You can record a reusable non-secret identifier, work through a consolidated checkpoint inbox, skip a destination, document a block, or retry later. Passwords, cookies, tokens, recovery codes, and shared accounts are outside the product.

Browser-local helper

A least-privilege Chrome or Edge helper receives a short-lived bundle for the exact directory domain. It maps labels to prepared fields, supports multi-step refilling, attaches approved local assets where the browser permits, and offers a download fallback. It never accepts terms, checks legal declarations, solves CAPTCHA, enters passwords, or clicks submit.

Truthful outcomes and evidence

Opening a directory is recorded as opened—not submitted. Submitted, accepted, and live require explicit confirmation, with a listing URL for accepted or live outcomes. Rejections need a reason. Evidence notes, submitted URLs, listing URLs, confirmation source, timestamps, and backlink status remain attached to the target.

Durable operations

Batch preparation and backlink checks use a database-backed job queue with atomic claiming, leases, heartbeats, retry limits, exponential backoff, cancellation, expired-lease recovery, and dead-letter status. Managers can see queue health, service activation, open alerts, and retention settings without exposing worker credentials.

Reports that do not overclaim

CSV reports are generated from persisted launch snapshots and include each directory, outcome, submission URL, listing URL, evidence, backlink state, last check, and error. Traffic potential is calculated only from confirmed live outcomes. Reports never turn an attempted form fill into a published listing.

Workspace-grade controls

Roles separate owners, administrators, operators, and viewers. Database row-level security enforces tenant boundaries; service functions revalidate membership; cookie mutations require a same-origin request; sensitive operations are rate-limited atomically; uploads are private and signature-inspected; audits reject secret-shaped metadata.

What LISTDIR deliberately does not do

The product does not bypass access controls, manufacture community participation, guarantee approval, sell rankings, promise backlinks, or hide third-party fees. Remote browser automation and human concierge work are not part of the initial self-serve offer. That boundary makes the assistance safer, easier to understand, and less likely to violate a destination’s rules.
